Our story begins in Ethiopia, where our great-grandfather, Gebeno, cultivated coffee on a small plot of land beside his family home. He didn’t just grow coffee—he shared it. Neighbors would gather, stories were exchanged, and coffee was always at the center. That spirit of warmth and togetherness continues to inspire everything we do today.
We proudly source our coffee beans from Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee, known for its rich history and complex, vibrant flavors. Each bean reflects generations of tradition, care, and craftsmanship.
Today, Gebeno Coffee is locally roasted in San Jose, California, ensuring freshness, quality, and consistency in every batch. Whether we’re roasting beans for your home or serving handcrafted drinks from our mobile espresso cart, our goal is simple: to deliver exceptional coffee and meaningful connection in every cup.
From farmers’ markets to private events and celebrations, we believe that every gathering deserves great coffee, and a welcoming experience to match.
